Company D&D 2012

Though I did not attend the event, I have heard enough stories that makes me feel good about my decision.

Some of the general comments I heard were:
- Pathetic
- Worst ever D&D of my life
- Entertainment was missing
- It was boring
- Food was not up to the mark (Non Veg); Food was horrible (Veg)
- They served chicken soup on vegetarian tables!

Anyway, as with everything else that happens, there are bound to be more people criticizing the events...it's just human nature!

For me, I would rather look & appreciate  the efforts of the people who have made the event possible...so kudos to the organizing committee who spent extra their time and energy to ensure that they do their best with the limited resources.

My First Blog

This is my first attempt to blogging and as with a lot of other things I do in life, not sure how far I will continue it...but I seem to be positive about this.

Today, Aarush (my son) woke me up at around 6:30am with his non-stop chanting "Dadda" (yes, that's what he calls me). I, in turn, woke up Pranali and requested her to take care of him for a while so that I can catch some essential sleep (last night slept at 2:00 am). Finally I had to give up and I woke up at 7am and started playing with Aarush...it was a good beginning of the day.

At work, nothing much to do today except following up on a few issues from last week. Most of the conversations are about AIA D&D event last Friday. General feeling was that it was "pathetic" and not up to the mark. It makes me feel wise that I opted out to spend some quality time with my wife and kid...my rule of Family First seems to be doing wonders!

Looking forward to a fun filled evening with Aarush and hoping to watch Ek Tha Tiger tonite.
